The Journey Begins

Every cancer patient goes through a unique set of experiences varied by pre-existing physiological, emotional, spiritual and socioeconomic circumstances. Every patient has a story worth listening to. This blog is my attempt at sharing my encounter with stomach cancer, shining a light on the good, the bad, and the ugly. It is my hope, as a doctor-turned-patient, to increase public awareness of this life-altering event.

When things go well, enjoy it. When things go wrong, it’s free tuition. So enjoy anyway.

Thanks for joining me!

Terence I’m an NP and a nursing professor (taught your friend Vivian Doduc). I am sorry for your circumstances, but I will use you shared experiences to help in my practice and teaching. Thanks for your courage and I will be sending you positive vibes on your journey. Let me know if I can help in any way. Elizabeth Brownlee.

  2. Hello Terence,
Sending you love and best wishes for a speedy recovery. Your writing is wonderful despite the gravity of the subject.
